Once we have an understanding of what it will take to create your project, we will provide you with a firm quote.

Once you have agreed to the quote we have given you, we will take your deposit. In most cases $500 is enough to lock your project down. If something is particularly complex or heavy, we may ask for 50% down.

Computer. Animated. Design..... We work with some of the most talented artists in the entire country. Our team will take what might originally be a drawing on a napkin and turn it into a full fledged 3D computer design.

Once your CAD has been created, we 3D print your project into wax. Sometimes our custom pieces have up to 100 tiny little pieces! 

Turning wax into gold.... During the casting process our experienced casters will turn your wax models into actual gold. Things are starting to get real here.

During this stage our experienced jewelers bench assembles all of the gold pieces together to create your your custom ring, pendant, necklace, bracelet, etc. If your piece includes diamonds, they are then expertly set in a variety of different settings by hand.

The final stage in our manufacture process. Our bench jewelers put a final polish and clean on your custom piece to make it sparkle and shine. Your piece is now ready.

Congrats! You are now part of the By Barnett family. Before delivery of your piece payment must be made in full. Our accepted forms of payment are cash, wire, Apple Pay, Zelle, or Venmo.

All By Barnett custom work will receive free cleaning, polish, and rhodium for life! Rest easy knowing that your new prized possession will always be taken care of. 

Every custom piece starts with your idea. The more detail you can give us the better. A photo of something similar you have seen, a drawing, or at the very least a verbal description are vital in our ability to turning your thoughts into gold.

Generally our pieces can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 weeks depending on the complexity of the piece and our availability. If you have a timeline such as a wedding or birthday that you need your piece in time for, please let us know AS EARLY AS POSSIBLE!

The touchiest.... and most important question.
In custom work it is vital for us to understand what kind of runway you have for your specific project. Letting us know what you are comfortable in spending from the start gives us the ability to get you the highest quality piece for the least amount of money and effort.

Before a design is mocked up we require a non-refundable $500 deposit to be placed. This will cover the CAD (Computer Animated Design) and wax.

Please note: If a project is particularly large or labor intensive and additional deposit may be required.
